[avatar user=”Yogazander Dave” /] On Saturday, August 15th, Helena held a “special” Yogazander class featuring Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra which has been called “yogic sleep” is a form of deep relaxation. It is an ancient practice that is intended to induce full body relaxation and a deep meditative state. We practice it in some form at the end of every Yoga class during Savasana. However, it can also be a practice in itself. Here are some comments from those who attended:
It was amazing, I so needed this… it seemed like 5 minutes in meditation and I have felt refreshed ever since.
